Locate a grid square

You can locate any grid square or grid reference by entering it in the box below and then clicking the 'Locate' button. You can enter any form of grid reference, e.g. SD, SD50, SD50NE, SD50Y, SD5806, SD587062, SD58750625, SD5875206253. To find the grid reference/tetrad at any point on the map, just click on it. (The closer you are zoomed in, the more precise the calculated grid reference will be.)

(Note that displaying the boundary of the project area will slow down the performance of the map.)

You can pan/zoom the map by using the controls in the top left of the map. You can also pan simply by dragging the map. Use the view buttons in the top right of the map to change between satellite, map and hybrid views.
